After being constricted to elastic waist jeans, leggings and the same few tops and dresses on repeat over the last several months, I’ve never desired new clothing as much as I do now. In my opinion, good maternity fashion is nonexistent and it takes a lot of creativity to fashionably rock the bump while at the same time, not spending a ton of money. You don’t want to spend high dollar on maternity items that you will only wear a few months! I tried to look for non-maternity clothing that would fit my bump and that I could still wear post pregnancy.
Anyways, now that I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy, I am super excited about shopping again and trying on new clothes. These are some items that I have my eye on! I’m not sure that I’ll be ready to wear a two-piece swim suit this summer, but I sure do love this sporty halter and neon bottoms combo. And these jogger pants look super comfy and would be perfect paired with sandals, a tank, and military vest for an easy weekend look. This chambray top would look great with this fringe skirt for date night as well as this striped, off the shoulder dress. Open toe loafers in leopard? Yes! I could see myself wearing them with distressed denim shorts and a black blazer this summer.

Target recently had a buy one pair of shoes get the second pair half off sale. I took advantage and ordered these fringe booties along with these two-toned flats. I have already gotten a ton of use out of the fringe booties this winter by pairing them with denim and a utility jacket or leggings and a sweater. I love that they will work in the spring and summer as well with shorts or a dress. Fringe booties definitely swing between western and boho. Speaking of western, they’d be a perfect alternative for cowboy boots during rodeo season (for all my Texas readers)! This is a trendy item that I typically wouldn’t splurge on so I was stoked when I saw that Jeffrey Campbell made a similar fringe bootie and couldn’t believe how much it resembled the less expensive Target bootie!

I’m sure that you’ve seen these fab Karen Walker Super Duper sunglasses on girls all over Pinterest. They are a signature to fashionista Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific. The shape of these shades is so classic and pulls together almost any outfit. If you don’t want to spend a pretty penny, Urban Outfitters has a pair that is very similar for only $16!
