I’ve heard that it’s unlikely to get out of the house during your first few weeks with a newborn. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of days when I don’t even get out of my pajamas. I’ve picked up a few loungewear pieces recently, like these shorts and this sleep shirt, to make me feel a little more put together while sitting around at home. I think I need to add a few pajama sets to the mix. This scalloped set from Shopbop is adorable and this J. Crew set looks super soft! And when visitors stop by, I can just throw on an open front cardigan to not feel so exposed.

I was 14 weeks pregnant in these photos (now 39 weeks). It’s crazy to look back and see how much my body has changed! Being pregnant and gaining 40 pounds really has made me appreciate my pre-pregnancy body more. I used to be so critical of myself in photos, but now I look back at old photos and think, “daaaang girl you look good!” I’m due in one week and am really looking forward to getting back in shape and wearing normal clothes again. I also can’t wait to get back on a blogging schedule and share more posts with you. I thought I would be able to manage my blog while juggling my full time job, pregnancy, and preparing for baby…but I failed. Once the baby is born and I’ve surpassed the early struggles of figuring out how to raise a newborn, I plan to get back at it, so stay tuned! I’ve been brainstorming post ideas out the wazoo and can’t wait to share!
I bought this denim dress at the Gap last year. They no longer have it in pearl snaps, but they have a very similar option. I paired it with a baseball hat, edgy statement necklace, and sneakers for a more casual look, but it’d also look good with your summer wedges and bright accessories like this purse or necklace.
I have a feeling that I’ll be gravitating towards all of my loose-fitting tops and dresses post-pregnancy; this denim dress included.

I typically don’t add new cover-ups to my wardrobe very often since they aren’t something worn year-round, but I may have to make an exception this year because I’m OBSESSED with these Pitusa cover-ups, available from Shopbop. They come in several different styles (one of each, please!) and a variety of vibrant colors. You’re sure to look glam in these cover-ups while at the pool or beach this summer.
Check out some cover-up looks from my post last year, too!

Wedding season is just around the corner! Well, that’s what some people would say, but these days it feels like there isn’t a specific season for weddings. If you’re like me, in your mid-late twenties (oh, and from the south), the weddings are nonstop! New engagements are constantly happening and conversations around wedding planning are a recurring topic.
Meet Loverly. Loverly is your one stop shop for all things wedding planning where you can get wedding ideas and inspiration, purchase wedding products, and find vendors to hire.
I am so excited to help them announce the launch of their very own bridesmaid dress collection co-designed by top Anthropologie seller, Eva Franco! Loverly knows exactly what brides are searching for and with their knowledge combined with the vintage aesthetic of Eva Franco, the result is a collection full of texture and on trend colors and styles that will fit any bride’s needs.

Jumpsuits?! Yes, please! These are perfect for the trendy bride. I don’t think that I’ve ever been to a wedding where the bridesmaids have worn jumpsuits, but I am loving the idea. To me, jumpsuits usually have a more edgy feel to them, but Eva for Loverly was able to design bridesmaid jumpsuits with a feel of pure elegance. I am digging both of these styles; they are the perfect mixture of sophistication and fun and I predict that we’ll be seeing a lot of bridesmaids in ivory/white this year.
Texture. Texture. Texture. The cut of these styles is so classic and the textured overlay gives them that perfect vintage flair. I can envision bridesmaids rocking them with either strappy sandals or cowboy boots, depending on the type of look brides want to portray. Teal is a great color too; it goes with anything!
These styles scream total gracefulness and would work great for the traditional bride. I love the softness of the blush pink color and the shine gives the dress a little extra pizazz. Navy is a color that never goes out of style and the classic cut and floral texture makes it a little more formal.
This floral lace overlay is to die for and the cuts of these dresses are impeccable. I love the dainty scallop trim and I’m a sucker for any garment with an open back. This drop back dress is so sophisticated and would be great for an evening wedding. And this royal blue – it isn’t a color that I would typically pick for a wedding, but with these silhouettes…it’s perfection.
I so wish could go back in time and pick out a bridesmaid dress from this collection. Eva for Loverly is bringing a fresh take on bridesmaids attire and I’m sure we’ll be seeing these dresses on bridal parties everywhere. The best part about them is that they won’t just sit in your closet after the big day; they can be worn again and again.
Are you as in love as I am?!

I love flannel shirts. I only have one; the one I am wearing. I’m not quite sure why I haven’t invested in more in different colors because I wear it so much! So much to the point where it’s getting worn out. Flannel shirts are so versatile. Typically, I wear mine with jeans and moto boots, but I decided to style it a little more dressy with slouchy pants, pumps, and a fedora.
How do you wear your flannel shirts?
